Which issues got the most consideration in 2009? (Graphics may take a moment to load)
Clicking on an issue at left generates a heat map showing how "hot" or "cold" an issue was based on total votes. Total votes approximates consideration given bills in an issue area (exceptions are bills passed with unusually few votes). The "temperature" of an issue is shown by colored districts (key at right) indicating the number of votes cast by the district's legislator (mouse over district to see legislators/votes cast). Colder issues are blue or green (fewer votes cast). Warmer issues are yellow or orange (more votes cast). Red districts indicate most votes. White appears where legislators had no opportunities to vote. Copyright © CT EarthNet 2009.
